Managed Share Program
Autumn Air’s managed share program is designed to first and foremost take the financial guesswork out of aircraft ownership. Participation in the program is scalable, allowing ownership in the amount of an aircraft that is appropriate for your needs. Additionally, it is flexible, with unlimited pairings of ownership in multiple aircraft and aircraft types.

Here is how the program works:

The Aircraft

Autumn Air’s team has identified a group of aircraft models that combine a history of safe and efficient operation, with long term proven retention of value. These aircraft are the Beechcraft King Air, models 90 & 200, and the Cessna Citation, models ISP, II, SII, and V.
Autumn Air then identifies examples of the above model aircraft that represent the best value with respect to the current market climate.

Share Price

An acquisition price for the aircraft is then calculated using a formula that establishes the aircraft as a virtual zero time commodity. This formula funds a warranty that covers engine and propeller or thrust-reverser wear to current levels, airframe wear and outstanding or upcoming inspections or repair, avionics upgrades, and refurbishment of paint and interior as required. This price also includes fees associated with the marketing of the aircraft or its shares for re-sale.

The Warranty

The warranty coverage through Autumn Air insures that aircraft ownership does not become a dreaded time-bomb on your balance sheet. Instead, your aircraft, or share, remains a useful tool for business and leisure, one which you can budget and plan around with confidence.
Share owners of Autumn Air managed aircraft fund the maintenance and continued virtual zero time status of their aircraft or share, through a simple fixed fee for maintenance hours.
Once an aircraft is enrolled in the Autumn Air Managed Share Program, shares are marketed for sale. These shares range in size from as little as 1/15th interest, to whole ownership.
Ownership in an Autumn Air managed aircraft or share is a turn-key experience. Travel is as simple as making a phone call to schedule your travel. We handle all of the details, from trip planning, to aircraft maintenance, and everything in between.

Monthly Upkeep

In addition to fees for maintenance hours, shares in Autumn Air managed aircraft are subject to a fixed monthly management fee. Aside from this fee and a maintenance charge per flight hour, all other expenses related to Autumn Air managed aircraft are directly related to aircraft operation and are billed at actual rates at occurrence. When available, Autumn Air passes on discounts in fuel and services directly to share owners. You will never see a fuel surcharge or artificial facilities fees on an invoice from Autumn Air.
Autumn Air managed aircraft and shares are based on daily use, as share sizes correlate to the number of days the owner plans to use the aircraft in a single year. Shares are avialable from as small as 1/15th with 18 days to 7/15th with 140 days.
Each 1/15 share of a managed aircraft is obligated to pay the minimum monthly maintenance commitment. This automated fee funds the ongoing care and maintenance of your aircraft. If an owner flies more than their commitment in a month, additional hours are billed as they occur. During months when owner use does not exceed the commitment, pre-billed hours are accrued for future use and remain valid for up to 12 months.
Aircraft and shares managed by Autumn Air are structured as a single asset LLC. All shares are the property of their respective owners and may be sold at their discretion, at the current prevailing rates.

Direct Operational Costs

Owners are billed the hourly maintenance fees as the aircraft is used. Expenses are first subtract from the owners built up time from their monthly commitment and then billed as flown. There is no maximum number of hours that an owner can fly the airplane and if more days are needed to accommodate travel, time can purchased at special owner charter rates.
Crew are billed by the day and expenses are billed at the direct cost.
Fuel, airport fees, ground transportation, catering and other expenses are all billed at cost.
